Preparing 2012: Stockholm

At the moment we are working on the preparations for the second edition of The Hague Design and Government; a cooperation with the Swedish capital Stockholm. In August Ed Annink, intendant The Hague Design and Government edition 2010, and Hester van Kranendonk, project officer, have visited Stockholm to make the first steps towards a collaboration between The Hague and Stockholm. The first exploratory talks took place with possible Swedish partners from various cultural, design and government institutions. Ewa Kumlin, director of Svensk Form (Swedish organisation for crafts and design) is our contactperson in Stockholm. She organises and coordinates the meetings with Swedish designers and architects and representatives from business and government.
