Designs for fictional organisations

De Affiche Galerij [The Poster Gallery], The Hague

June 11 - July 4

Posters are excellent means to highlight social issues such as AIDS, women’s emancipation or poverty. They are produced and commissioned by for instance the Red Cross, the World Wildlife Fund or Greenpeace.

From 16 June onwards De Affiche Galerij [The Poster Gallery] is the territory of the first-year students Graphic Design and Photography at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. Under the header 'designs for fictional organisations’ the students have visualised the social topics they find relevant. An expert jury has selected sixty posters from a total of 140 submissions.
