Election posters from The Hague

De Affiche Galerij [The Poster Gallery], The Hague
May 19 - June 10

National election posters are put up across the country. From Groningen to Maastricht the same posters try and seduce us to vote. For regional and city council elections other posters are being printed, about local issues, and with different, less well-known faces. Sometimes they’re informative, sometimes they’re a call to action, sometimes they’re simply beautiful but don’t give away much about the party’s aims.

A selection of historical election posters from The Hague from 1950 onwards will be presented in De Affiche Galerij [The Poster Gallery] in the special tram underpass (designed by Rem Koolhaas) in the centre of the city.

See all the posters here.
