European Bench continued

The project European Bench will be continued by three students of The Hague University. Marlot Beentjes, Inge Elfrink and Leonie van Vliet will take the concept of a European meeting place to the next level.
During the project European Bench, which took place from October 2009 through February 2010, 30 students of The Hague University, faculty Industrial Product Design, have been developing concepts voor European meetingplaces. Their research shows that light attracts people and is an exciting feature. Therefore the students have chosen to continue with the slogan ‘the more people, the brighter the light!’ This slogan will be the starting point for a study project in which the European Bench will transform into a tangible product, suitable for public space in The Hague.
