Ideas on German-Dutch cooperation

If you have an idea on how German and Dutch designers and creative industries could cooperate, ánd you take part in the designers congress Mehrwert (27 September in Essen), you should text your idea to Ed Annink.

Foundation Design Den Haag contributes to the congress in different ways. Ed Annink, initiator of the biennial The Hague Design and Government, will give an opening speech in which he will ask the public to send in ideas and/ or statements on how German and Dutch designers and creative industries should cooperate. The owners of these ideas, will be invited to join the after-talk at the end of the day with Max Bruinsma (Items) and Klaus-Peter Bredschneider (pure) to discuss the suggestions. And Timo de Rijk (curator of the exhibition Norm=Form) will give a lecture and a workshop on standardisation and design. During the lunch he will give a guided tour through the exhibition.

Dutch Design Fashion Architecture organises a 3-days study trip to RUHR.2010 for Dutch designers. During these days they will visit several Dutch projects within the programme of RUHR.2010 (see www.nl-ruhr.de for all Dutch projects). They will visit the congress as well.
