The Hague Design and Government is a biennial manifestation focusing on the relation between design and government in the field of public design, architecture and visual communication. Our aim is to make governments aware of how to make better use of the creative potential in their communication with society. Read more

Foundation
Design Den Haag
Foundation Design Den Haag is the initiator of Design and Government. The foundation’s mission is to found a European Knowledge Centre in the field of Design and Government. We research the possibilities and the cultural and economic value of our theme by organizing a biennial in cooperation with partners in Berlin, Stockholm, Paris, London and Rome. Our growing international network challenges us to research and realize projects in between the biennials, this means the subject Design and Government is explored with activities all year round.
