On Friday September 2nd, 2011, the Dutch-Saxony symposium 'Norm=Form, über Standardisierung und Design' will take place in Leipzig. Last year we organised the successful exhibition 'Norm=Form, on standardisation and design'. In the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag in the context of Design and Government 2010 and in Essen, Germany, as part of RUHR.2010. In the exhibition we mainly looked back in history, in the symposium we will look forward: To what extent are current standards usable in the future? Should some rules be replaced by others in favour of economic ánd cultural innovation? Read more
