Alles van Waarde - Ootje Oxenaar

Alles van waarde - Ootje Oxenaar

In the exhibition on the work of graphic designer Ootje Oxenaar (Den Haag, 1929), two government services are central: PTT and De Nederlandsche Bank. Oxenaar was for both companies designer as well as commissioner and during the years build a longterm, solid relation. In his function as commissioner at the PTT, he made an important contribution to the flourishing Dutch design scene developing in the late seventies. Designers had a lot of freedom working for Oxenaar, who encouraged the experiment. He was head of the 'Dienst Esthetische Vormgeving' (aesthetic design service)  at the PTT until 1994. In the exhibition 'Alles van Waarde' zijn alle bankbiljetten en postzegels te zien die Oxenaar ontwierp. Deze objecten worden in de bredere context van zijn werk geplaatst.
